Who We Are

Lum Sai Ho Tong Hawai'i was founded in 1889 by a group of Chinese immigrants as a gathering place where they could support each other.  It is a place where people can pray to Tin Hau,  the patron saint of the Lum (Lim, Lam, Lem and Lin) clan known for her willingness to help those in need.  For over 100 years the organization has perpetuated the Chinese culture and today, works with state and city government to improve the Chinatown community.
