Double 10 Mini-Parade at the Chinese Cultural Plaza

-- Chinese societies gathered to celebrate the Wuchang Uprising on Oct 10, 1911 which led to the collapse of the Qing Dynasty and the establishment of the Republic of China

-- Chinese Society leaders gather at Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park for a mini Chinese New Year celebration/Jazz concert. Mayor Blangiardi wants more events like this and take back Chinatown for the community.

-- Lions came to Tin Hau Temple during Chinese New Year to be blessed .

--Our very own, Victor Lim, was selected to be the very first UCS Hall of Honor recipient at a lavish banquet at Jade Dynasty. His contributions to the community are too numerous to list. Lauding his accomplishments included LG Sylvia Luke and Councilmember Calvin Say.
