Joint Holiday Party

A groundbreaking first for Lum Sai Ho Tong was a joint Holiday Party with two other Chinese societies. A novel idea was developed by Michele Choy (Ching Clan President) to invite two other "smaller" societies to join with them for a holiday party. The intent was not only to create a "healthy" group of participants, but also to promote inter-society good will. So with the approval of the boards of Ching Clan, Kung Sheong Doo, and Lum Sai Ho Tong, together we held a joint holiday party on November 22, 2025 at the Ala Wai Golf Course L & L. Over a hundred people partied together along with the 2025 Narcissus Queen and Court and the 2026 contestants... and of course Santa. Everyone was treated to a delicious Chinese buffet, an abundance of door prizes, gifts and games for the kids. For Lum Sai Ho Tong, to have a holiday party was something different and out-of-the-ordinary, as we normally have religious events which centers around Tin Hau Temple. It is important to note that this event brought out members who normally do not participate in the temple events.
